About PrepLesson

Gamified exam prep for every Nigerian student

What we do

PrepLesson is an ed-tech platform built to make exam preparation engaging, accessible, and effective for secondary school students in Nigeria. We combine curriculum-aligned practice questions with game-like features — streaks, leaderboards, competitions, and rewards — so studying feels less like a chore and more like play.

Students can pick any subject (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and more), answer WAEC, NECO, and JAMB-style questions, track their progress over time, and compete with friends in live quiz competitions.

Our mission

We believe every student deserves a fair shot at exam success — no matter their school, location, or background. Our mission is to democratize access to high-quality exam practice by putting thousands of past-question-style problems in the pocket of every Nigerian learner.

Who we serve

PrepLesson is designed primarily for Senior Secondary School (SS1–SS3) students preparing for WAEC, NECO, and UTME (JAMB). Teachers and parents also use the platform to assign practice, monitor progress, and motivate learners through healthy competition.

What makes us different

  • Gamification that works — Daily challenges, streaks, badges, and leaderboards keep students coming back and studying consistently.
  • Exam-aligned content — Questions are modeled after real WAEC, NECO, and JAMB past papers so students practise exactly what they will face.
  • Study together — Invite friends, form study groups, and compete in live competitions to make learning social.
  • Works offline — Progress is cached locally, so students can keep practising even with spotty internet.
  • Free to start — Core practice and daily challenges are free. Premium features are clearly marked and never required to learn.

Company type

PrepLesson is a private educational technology (ed-tech) company focused on building digital learning tools for the Nigerian and broader West African market. We are not affiliated with WAEC, NECO, or JAMB, but our content is carefully curated to align with their syllabi and exam formats.
